Fan's reaction to Karthik replaced by Akshay in Hera pheri 3

There were reports of Akshay Kumar reviving three comedy franchises - Hera Pheri, Welcome and Awara Pagal Deewana with Firoz Nadiadwala. However, the latest update is that the 'Khiladi' star has now backed out of the sequel. is a sequel to the 2006 film Phir Hera Pheri and the third installment in the Hera Pheri 3 film.

Akshay was reportedly unconvinced about the quality and vision of the sequel. Akshay Kumar is well aware of the expectations of his fans in these comedy franchises. He refused to compromise on the quality of these scripts as attempts to remake these sequels without proper thought and with different actors have failed in the past.

Now the makers have roped in Kartik Aaryan to replace Akshay in 'Hera Pheri 3'. Paresh Rawal, who is an important part of the popular franchise, also confirmed the same. A fan on Twitter asked the veteran actor if the reports of Kartik coming on board 'Hera Pheri 3' were true. Rawal replied to the same, 'Yes, it is true'. However, the official announcement of the makers and actors is still awaited.

Kartik was last seen in Anees Bazmee's 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' where he stepped into the shoes of Akshay Kumar. The film was a massive hit at the box office.
