Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone are coming together for the first time in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter.
Celebrating India's 75th Republic Day, the action blockbuster from Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures will be released on January 25, 2024. Fighter will see Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone as Indian Air Force pilots. The film also stars Anil Kapoor in the lead role. Producer with Fighter, director Siddharth Anand, who is known for directing India's biggest action films, is trying to prepare this huge spectacle that will captivate the audience with an unprecedented experience on the big screen. Paying homage to the Indian Armed Forces, the film is perfectly timed to release during the Republic Day weekend.
The first of many accounts, Fighter will be India's first aviation action film. This is also the first time that Hrithik Roshan is sharing screen space with Deepika Padukone. With the vision of COO Ajit Andhare of Producer & Viacom18 Studio to bring an action film of international stature to Indian cinema, the film intends to reach a global audience with its story deeply rooted in India. Filmed all over the world, it promises the most modern techniques and technology in filmmaking.
Roshan welcomed him on board the film on Anil Kapoor's birthday last year by writing, “Happiest birthday to the man who gets younger in spirit and health every year, anilskapoor! All the best, sir.”

Shah Rukh Khan shared the first teaser for Pathaan. The film marks his return to cinemas after almost four years. Pathan is directed by Siddharth Anand and also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Shah Rukh plays a spy in the action thriller. Sharing the trailer, he wrote, “I know it's late... But remember the date... Pathaan time starts now... See you in theaters on January 25, 2023. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Celebrate #Pathaan with #YRF50 only on a big screen near you.
In the trailer, John and Deepika take turns to introduce 'Pathaan'. He talks about how he is nameless and his only goal in life is to protect his country at all costs. Shah Rukh is seen emerging from the shadows wearing a white shirt and long hair as he talks about his love for the country. The film will be released in theaters on January 25, 2023.
Shah Rukh was last seen on the big screen in Aanand L Rai's 2018 film Zero. The film also starred Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, but failed at the box office.
Deepika was last seen in the Amazon Prime release Gehraiyaan. After Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express and Happy New Year, Pathan has his fourth film with Shah Rukh.
Deepika's other projects include Fighter with Hrithik Roshan, another film with Prabhas and the Hindi remake of The Intern. John will also be seen in Attack and Ek Villain 2.
